Installation
Upload the plugin zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate it, then enter your license key under WooCommerce → A1 Profit Reports for WooCommerce → License to unlock updates and support.
Setting Your Product Costs
Open any product or variation and enter its cost per unit in the Cost of Goods field. Costs are stored per variation, so bundles and variable products stay accurate.
Profit on Orders
When an order is placed, A1 Profit Reports for WooCommerce snapshots each line item’s cost at checkout. Profit displays right on the order screen next to the order totals, and stays accurate even if you update a product’s cost later.
Cost of Goods Report
Go to WooCommerce → Reports → Cost of Goods to see profit over any date range, including a Profit by Product breakdown.
Troubleshooting
If an order shows no profit, check that a cost was entered for that product before the order was placed — profit is calculated from the cost captured at checkout, not the current cost.
